CELEBRITY ROOM INFO
Hi Everyone! Thank you again SO much for your outpouring of positive comments about my room and in support of me! I am definitely trying to answer all the mail so please be patient with me! I’ve had so many requests asking where to get the items I used in Tiffany and Brady’s room so I’ll give you as much info as I can!
The wallpaper is sold only “to the trade” (interior designers) so please ask your interior designer about it! But when I spoke to the owner and told him of the fabulous response, he said you can go to www.designyourwall.com and order your custom wallpaper at retail through the company! I hope that helps!
The beautiful roman shades were made by the John Crawford Company 22311 Ventura Blvd. Ste. 102 818-884-5464 Very professional and wonderful workmanship!
The amazing organic felt pillows, organic bamboo sheets and organic comforter and towels are available on www.planetlonni.com Please contact me if you need anything before the site is fully running!!
The bamboo furniture is from Crate and Barrel, the wood floors from Lumber Liquidators and the sisal rug can be purchased at any carpet dealer and custom sized. Just have them finish the edges for you!
I hope I haven’t forgotten anything! Thank you all again!!

Thanks for the info Lonni. Where did you get the fabulous full length mirror?

Hi Lonni – Great room. Best wishes on your continued success. I do think you should have been in the final standing. Perhaps it means that you are destined for something bigger and better? Love your designs.
I also wanted to ask where the big mirror was purchased? It’s the mirror the three of you were standing in front of on the HGTV Design Star website. The large mirror in Tiffini Thiessen’s room. I’ve seen this mirror in other design shows over the past several months, but have not been able to locate it. Any suggestions?

Hi Lonni-
We were interested in the wood used as the headboard. I know it was a one-of-a-kind piece, but where did you find it (or any ideas where we could find something similar?)
Thanks,
Rye

I can not believe that you were sent home, because of the headboard. They clearly said over and over, that Antonio forgot about scale in his design, yet he stayed. I think they are looking for the “bad boy” for the next show, to try and reach a different audience. I think you look too much like Candice, and that is the real reason you got sent home.

Hi Lonni,
Just wanted to take a moment and let you know I picked you from the beginning. I am so sorry about how this years DS has been handled. You clearly should have won. All that aside, I love your designs and the focal walls. Lonni, you’re the best and your very gracious exit was to be commended. Have you ever thought of starting your own webshow? You’ve certainly got the fan base.
Take care of you and thanks for some amazing design moments.

I am still just numb that they took your talent away from us!
I am sure this can’t possibly be the last time we hear from you!
The room you did was breathtakingly relaxing and elegant.
I just sat there with my mouth open when they said your show was canceled.
best wishes,
your biggest fan

Lonni~ Hi. Congratulations on an amazing job on the hgtv show. You should be proud of yourself. You showed integrity and professionalism and a clear design style throughout the show. Your on camera performance was impeccable. Without a doubt you ranked number one for most of us watching I am sure. You remind me in many ways of Candace Olsen, in that every room I have ever seen her do has been incredible and classic. I love what David Bromstadt said… you have a great gift in focal walls and should be applauded for it! I loved your room the most. Dan’s room was nice for sure,…and he seems to be a nice guy, but your room was heads above the rest the entire show… and as you said, you were competing against men who do heavy construction work, and yet you held your own. I hope we will get to see more of your work in the future. In the meantime I have bookmarked your websites. AND I also signed up for following you under twitter( @projecthope7) and hope you will follow back so we can DM each other occassionally. I live in FL so if you are ever here, please let me know so we can lunch!
Sadly I just found out about your contest..You are a woman after my own heart… mint tea and dark chocolate and organic candles! I would have LOVED to enter your contest! I am sure your weekly winners were very blessed!
Again, thank you for remaining dignified no matter what Hollywood or other team members threw at you… you were a joy to watch and encouraged. Definitely an inspiration!
Take care and God bless you and your family . graciously, Cathy B

Hi, Lonni,
I’d really love to hear your perspective on Antonio’s “win.” I also hope that you & Dan will be able to collaborate on future projects. You both have brilliant futures ahead. I’m just sorry that we, the HGTV viewers, were robbed of learning GREAT DESIGN tips from both of you.
Just one of HGTV’s blogs got over 3,000 comments in the past 24 hours 99% of it angry at their choice of Antonio as “Design Star” (they’ve since removed the blog, claiming “problems” with it).
Clearly, most of America is not as stupid as they thought. I hope eventually you & Dan will be able to tell us everything that went on behind the scenes. We all know there’s a lot more to the story.

I watched the DS show. And I just loved your designs. I think you have a clean look with a minimalist view when it comes to accessories. No clutter. Your ‘feature’ wall was not repetitive to me, just a great idea that is worth repeating.
Dans were great too. I voted for him and you with each of your rooms being revealed on the show.
I wish the best for you!
