Hi everyone!
Well, it’s finally started…DESIGN STAR is on the air (10/9 central) on HGTV as of last Sunday, and I couldn’t be more excited! I have learned so much about myself and people and the way reality shows are made…kidding! Really, I have made so many wonderful friends, friends I know I will keep with me for life (Dan, you know who I’m talking about…Dan…) and I just feel really grateful for this past year.
Anyways, SO GRATEFUL that I just couldn’t contain myself. So I decided it was time for me to throw a little party, shake my little booty, and enjoy this season of DESIGN STAR while it lasts…(no spoilers!)
I’m invited all of YOU — my family and friends and favorite new fans on Planet Lonni — to throw your own DESIGN STAR viewing party this Sunday. Every week, I will have a little something to share with my new friends…let’s just call it a party favor from the biggest party of the summer! (Well, it feel that way to me…)

Now, if you want to visit Hawaii, you could take on my living room and my spare room-which you could certainly use when you visit! I am sorry you were voted off, but I feel good things are going to happen to you because of your Design Star appearance.
I just want to say that seeing how you grew into your comfort zone was amazing! I was a little worried that the stress was gonna get you, but you were beautiful and confident. Your room for Tiffani and Brady was awesome! And her saying that she just wanted to move in there was the best compliment to your design

Your comments were great today (Sept 7, 2009) They were mature, responsible and well thought out. You can continue to hold your head high. Good going!
Rising to the bait (”Coward”) would solve nothing. There’s a famous line you and I both know that goes in part: we believe (it) to be true in so far as it is translated accurately.
In the case of the Design Star episode there was no way that you could translate all of it accurately for us. You don’t even HAVE all the info you need to do so.
So you stayed honest and that counts most of all.

My husband and Iwent to BYU and he was sure that he knew you or had seen you before. Wondering if you were a cheerleader or something while you attended school there. We have been cheering you along the whole way. Anyone of you could have gone home this last cut. You are a great designer and I’m sure you are very successful in the business. Keep up the good work, and congratulations on your success so far.
